Cardian Matsu By spending a lot more time focusing on the fine details in this two track EP, CEAEL captures the spirit of earlier dnb releases by creating their tracks in singles format, making them stand out by themselves as well as compliment each other in a more encapsulated form.

Dawn focuses a lot more on putting its synths at the forefront and using percussion to compliment the melody, while Sweetness works with more muted tones, allowing for complex integrations of break editing. Very solid overall. Favorite track: Dawn.

With their first solo release in nearly four years, Austin, Texas musician Carter Landon, or CEAEL (better known as AGORA) cements their staying power as a staple in the new Jungle scene with their latest release Heightened Reality. An ode to the atmospheric sounds of 1993-1996 Moving Shadow & Good Looking Records, CEAEL uses the sounds of vintage digital synths and samplers to create an ethereal, dream-like world incomparable to the one we live in.
